Josh Suess
Director of Strategy and Planning
Joining Richard Sandoval Restaurants in 2014, Josh Suess oversees all IT systems implementation, establishes effective reporting practices for the executive and accounting teams and formulates market analyses programs to estimate revenue and assess risk for the future growth of Richard Sandoval Restaurants.
Starting at a young age, Josh has had an acute understanding of the hospitality industry, as his family has owned a nightclub in the Dominican Republic for the last forty years. After graduating from business school and spending eight years in the Management Consulting field, he was brought on to join Richard Sandoval's executive team.
Prior to joining RSR, Josh spent eight years working with companies and government agencies at the Federal, State and local levels to improve their operations and planning. This included exposure to areas such as finance, accounting, human resources and marketing. He began his career in Federal Government and IT Consulting, working for the well-known firms, Bearingpoint, Booz Allen Hamilton and Blackboard Consulting.
Josh has helped to develop strategy and planning for the US Department of Justice, Department of Commerce, Food and Drug Administration, Social Security Administration and The US Department of Agriculture. His team was able to implement performance improvement plans and identify key performance indicators that would best position his clients for growth. His goal is to use this experience to position Richard Sandoval Restaurants into a company prepared for future sustainable growth.
Josh has a B.S. in Business Management from George Mason University and a Master's in Business Administration from The George Washington University. He lives in Alexandrea, Virginia with his wife, two sons and two dogs and enjoys spending time with his growing family and playing golf.
